Sometimes You Just Get On a Bike
Fall is coming, but riding doesn't stop.
It's September, and in Toronto that means that you can feel fall creeping into air while summer still lays claim to our days, if not always the nights. There are plenty of warm ones still, the occasional cool one means plants--the small ones at least--come indoors.
Not bikes though. It's still short pants and short sleeves, as I headed all the way across the city to see my friend [Haruna](https://www.instagram.com/harus_cuisine/ at her most recent popup. (Sadly, she sold out of sandwiches just before I got there...I really want to try her Miso Mushroom sandwich one day. Haruna is an amazing vegan chef and her tiramisu was worth the ride itself. Cycling, coffee and tiramisu are a wonderful combination.
Still, Thug Ford is trying to rip apart our cycling infrastructure and I bumped into this video wherein someone who hadn't really been a cyclist actually decided to try it in London and, well...I think the video speaks for itself really. Worth a watch.
Cycling consistently proves itself to be the best way to get around bit cities, and sometimes you just have to try.
