Light in the Window
When I was younger, the King and Dufferin area was largely abandoned warehouses. No -- let's make that abandoned run down warehouses.
This, of course, put it in the perfect position to capitalize on the boom in high ceiling loft space for both work and play. Enormous windows like the one on the right can be found everywhere, and there's probably not a ceiling less than 20 feet in the entire area.
I still can't shake the feeling that the buildings are just renovated abandoned warehouses. A couple of them are nice, but for the most part they've been renovated on tight budgets. I don't necessarily consider this a bad thing, but I think that some of the spaces are a bit overrated (not too mention overpriced.)
