Ethernet Wire

Toronto's Silicon Alley languished for decades before becoming what it is today. Butting against Parkdale on the north and west and the increasingly decrepit CNE grounds to the south makes this an oasis of activity in the middle of, well, nowhere.

Ethernet Wire

The nerve system of the 'modern organizations' that have been behind the gentrification of the area is the category 5 ethernet cable -- usually blue -- that ties computers together. No one calls it that though: it's just 'Cat 5'.

There's literally miles of this stuff running in this area - in the ceilings, through the walls, across the floors and out the windows. It's everywhere, although you can't always see it. Nothing would happen without it.
