Fishing, Crescent City, California
Fishing and kite flying were the major forms of entertainment in the town, with not much else to do. A small movie theatre was located in one of the strip malls. My search for a bookstore was met with only a religious one -- all others had closed after being devastate by the wake of amazon.com
